What is nutritional therapy?

Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care.

As a nutritional therapist, I use a wide range of tools, including the functional medicine model, to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and to understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. My overall aim is to work with you to:

  • Find the root cause of an illness/condition

  • Address where the nutritional imbalances are

  • Identify connections between different systems in the body

  • Restore optimum health and wellbeing

  • Educate and support you using scientific research and literature to validate my plan

I consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes to address nutritional imbalance and to help support the body towards regaining and maintaining health.
